With that institutional knowledge, we facilitated the definition of the scope and timing of their space requirement to identify appropriate facilities within a geographic area aimed to support MedSolutions’ business operations. Our team utilized MedSolutions’ financial strength and willingness to make a long term commitment as leverage to compel landlords to compete for MedSolutions’ tenancy resulting in superior lease terms. |

| Assignment: | Franklin-based Spheris Operations, a leading global outsource provider of medical transcription technology and services, leased 70,209 square feet in the Primus complex at 9009 Carothers Parkway in Cool Springs to enable expansion of its growing operations.
Spheris engaged Cassidy Turley to expand its growing operations and to analyze multiple facilities located in Tennessee, Virginia, Florida, and North Dakota, to achieve maximum efficiencies and reduce total occupancy costs.
In order to meet Spheris’ specific needs, Cassidy Turley assembled a team of
experts including Whit McCrary and Rob Lowe (Tenant Representation), Jack Weber of Gresham, Smith and Partners (Architectural Services) and Dillard Adams (Construction Management). Together, the team analyzed Spheris’ existing occupancy and leaseholds, established a strategy to reduce total occupancy costs, evaluated alternative locations, successfully negotiated leases, and oversaw architectural planning and construction, resulting in Spheris’ savings of hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars. |
